Oliver Klink, award-winning author and photographer, will do an artist talk, book signing, and popup exhibit at the Blitzer Gallery (2801 Mission St) on April 26th at 1:30pm, in conjunction with a month-long photo exhibit by 40 members of the local Community of Digital Artists (CODA). Oliver’s 2nd award-winning book “Poetry in Motion” explores the profound connection shared between humans and horses across cultures and beyond borders, with incredible photographs.
He will share his tales and images about culture, adventure, and the horses he photographed.
Going Beyond Green clinic with Jerry Tindell May 16th - 18th at Santa Cruz County Horsemen's Showgrounds Jerry teaches you effective horsemanship to help you be safe and in control at all times. This class will cover body control, moving all the body parts separate and together to build softness in your horse or mule. Get deeper with the fundamentals of horsemanship and advance past green. We will use the obstacle course as a challenge to build confidence and courage in your animal to have a better safer ride. An obstacle becomes the fearful thing you see when you take your eyes off your goal. It’s time to take the next step to Going Beyond Green and getting deeper in your ride!
