Henry Cowell State Park Reports

3/16/19 - River Trail just down river from the railroad trestle is badly eroded and a bit tricky for horses to pass.  See photo:

5/2020 - this spot continues to erode and looks MUCH worse now.  

5/2020 - Powder Mill single track.  Headed to the Deck from SCCHA, there is a spot just up from the creek crossing where half the trail is an exposed pipe.  Also,  the first step, coming up from Pipeline going to the Deck is another tough one.  The step is about 5 inches above the ground and the space below would be easy for a horse hoof to catch.  State Parks plans to fix both these areas by the end of June.
