Vaquero Clinic Auditor 3-days – $90.00

Camping fees are $25/day per rider, and include a paddock for your horse. No camping fee for SCCHA members. Paddocks are available on a 1st-come, 1st served basis. Campground opens at 12 noon on Thursday Oct 26.

Non-riders are considered Auditors and are welcome to observe from outside the arena. Fee is $30/day per person. Camping & Audit fees are payable at the event.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY HORSEMEN’S ASSOCIATION SHOWGROUNDS

1145/1251 GRAHAM HILL ROAD, SANTA CRUZ CALIFORNIA

In this 3-day clinic riders will learn about traditional Vaquero methods and gear, and how the maneuvers we ask of our horses correlate with their jobs such as trail riding, working cattle and classical dressage. Format includes group lessons, quiet cattle work, plus individual coaching for each rider. Sunday clinic will end mid-afternoon, to accommodate out of area travel. Clinic is limited to 12 riders. Horse camping is available with paddock.

Cost:

$500 per Rider (includes lunch & cattle fee)

$30/day per Auditor

$25/day per person per day - includes paddock
