This month we’re having special double feature pre-Thanksgiving Membership Meeting.

Dessert First: Get a head start on Thanksgiving with an array of desserts and appetizers. We’re skipping the turkey and gravy and going straight to the good stuff, provided by the Best Bakers in the West : SCCHA Members. This is a chance to show off (or try out) your special holiday desserts and appetizers . We’re calling it the Great Horsemen’s Baking Show.

TRAIL TALES Of the HIGH SIERRA

Once properly stuffed, SCCHA’s own Laurel Harlamoff will share her adventures of riding solo on trails in the High Sierra. For the past two summers, Laurel and her Morgan, Beau, have horse packed on the 170 mile Tahoe Rim Trail (11 days) and 115 miles of the John Muir Trail (8 days.)

The bugs were awful, the trails were tough — Laurel loved it. And we know you will, too.

When: Sunday, November 16, 4 p.m.

Where: SCCHA Clubhouse

What: Desserts, appetizers and presentation by Laurel Harlamoff

WHY: to share and taste test our Holiday Desserts and Appetizers and to enjoy Trail Tales of the High Sierra .

SCCHA will provide drinks, (but bring your own wine). Non-member friends are welcome.
