May 20, 2018 Introductory Meeting Summary 

We had a great turn out for the first introductory Junior Meeting on Sunday May 20th!  There were 10 juniors and 5 parents.

The new program was explained and discussed. Juniors signed up for the different activities we hope to offer.  The juniors also shared ideas that they had for the program.

 "Stations" were set up and the juniors learned about the following topics:  

Colors and Markings - photos to identify

Riding Figures - drawings to identify type of riding patterns

Gaits - drawings of horse in different movement to identify gaits

Mystery Socks - only by feel, identify what is in the sock

There was a lot of interaction and teamwork between the juniors.  The older juniors worked with a younger junior in teams.
